It is said that you can have an idea about hygienic person by simply looking at his feet.
Foot the most important part which balances our whole body weight. Lets see some tips to maintain it good.
Wash you feet on a daily basis, in lukewarm soapy water. Thereafter, rinse them with cool water, dry with a towel.
Whenever you get your feet wet, make sure to dry them thoroughly, especially between the toes.
Keep Your Nails Trimmed, but don't cut them too short, especially at the edges, where they might dig into the skin and become ingrown.
The best time to buy shoes is later in the day, when the feet are a bit swollen. The shoes that feel comfortable at that time will surely be comfy at all times of the day.
Scrub your feet, especially the heels, with a foot scrubber on a regular basis. It will help remove the dead cells and make you feet softer.
Before going to bed, wash you feet thoroughly, dry them with a towel.
Apply turmeric paste often if you have cracks or sores.
Give atleast half of the care given to your face to your foot also.
Diabetic Foot Care
If you have diabetes you are more likely to have foot problems. Diabetes can damage your nerves. This, in turn, may make you less able to feel an injury or pressure on the skin of your foot.
You may not notice a foot injury until severe damage or infection develops. Diabetes changes your body's ability to fight infections. If you have diabetes, you should:
Improve control of your blood sugar
Stop smoking
Get a foot exam by your health care provider at least twice a year and learn whether you have nerve damage.
Check and care for your feet every day, especially if you already have known nerve or blood vessel damage or current foot problems.
DAILY CARE ROUTINE
Check your feet every day. Look carefully at the top, sides, soles, heels, and between the toes.
Wash your feet every day with lukewarm water and mild soap. Strong soaps may damage the skin.
Test the temperature of the water with your fingers or elbows before putting your feet in hot water. Because of your diabetes, you may not be able to sense if the water is too hot.
Gently and thoroughly dry your feet, particularly between your toes. Infections can develop
